About the event
Course Overview
Microorganisms may be invisible, but the risks they create are present throughout the dental environment. Understanding how infection spreads provides the foundation for effective infection prevention and control.
This webinar introduces compliance through a simple framework: having clear policies and procedures, applying the correct behaviours consistently and using quality management processes to check that systems are working effectively.
Participants will explore the chain of infection, common methods of transmission in dentistry and the role of standard and transmission-based precautions. The session will also cover hand hygiene, IPC risk management and the responsibilities of clinicians and team members.
