Stepping into Leadership

The online program runs for two weeks, Tuesday 7 & 14 July 2026 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm AEST

Created to help clinicians and team members overcome today’s challenges with confidence, this course will help them master:

• Self-awareness and emotional intelligence to build trust and clarity of purpose

• Practical tools for leading others through change, challenge, and uncertainty

• Flexible leadership skills to adapt under pressure while supporting team success

Virtual Classroom 1: Know Yourself – Leading from the Inside Out

What Participants Will Learn:

• How values shape leadership behaviour and build trust

• The power of self-awareness as the foundation of leadership

• The concept of the Leadership Shadow: how strengths can become blind spots

• How to identify your personal leadership purpose using Simon Sinek’s Golden Circle

• Techniques for managing yourself under stress and pressure using the 3R Pause tool

• How to remain flexible and adaptable while keeping your team’s interests at heart

Virtual Classroom 2: Leading Others Through Change and Challenge

What Participants Will Learn:

• Why people resist change and how to recognise “change monsters”

• Ten proven tools to lead through uncertainty

• How to challenge assumptions using the Ladder of Inference

• Applying the ADKAR model to manage real-life practice changes

• How to use the SCARF model to build trust, motivation, and safety

• How to shift daily team interactions from threat to reward

The online program runs for two weeks and will be delivered online via the Zoom platform with chats, polls and breakout rooms to enhance engagement and specially designed videos that you can watch at your own pace. This program gives the participants several opportunities to skills practice in smaller groups. Each participant must log into their PrimeLearn account and complete the modules in consecutive order, including videos and quizzes to gain access to CPD points and certificates.

You must attend both virtual classrooms live, this program doesn't offer a recording of the live sessions.
