Who we are

The Prime Practice story began in 1998 after Dr Phillip Palmer had attended a few practice management courses in the US. The changes he subsequently made to his dental practice created a huge difference to him and his team. His stress levels reduced and this communication with his team increased which resulted in him feeling that he was becoming a better leader. With these positive changes he also saw his business and practice profitability grow rapidly. He realised that if these successful practice management skills and principles were new to him that would also be new to many of his colleagues in Australia.

And so, in 1998, Phillip started Prime Practice. Not long after that, he was joined by communications guru Dr Michael Sernik and leadership/training expert Anita Roubicek. Together they are today leading a team of coaches, trainers and administrative staff in a culture of open feedback, reward, recognition and fun. What started as a one-man business coaching Sydney based practices has eveolved to a team of 25 who support practices all over Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, United States and Canada.

The Prime Practice team of Business Coaches have diverse backgrounds in business, psychology, dentistry, allied health and education. The team is passionate about creating effective team, developing solid leadership, and supporting businesses to be profitable and successful.
