This workshop will cover

• Desired outcomes – formulate a wish list to create their ideal practice.
• Stages of change– develop an awareness of what behaviours to expect at each stage of change. Implement tips on how to successfully move through each stage.
• Criteria for optimum treatment – solidify clinical criteria for various treatment options and share them with the team in order to have a consistent and non-judgemental approach with every patient.
• Appointment scheduling: The ideal day – implement a 4-step approach to taking control of the appointment book. Gain an understanding of the benefits of pre-blocks. Create an individual appointment book template which will generate the ideal day.
• Emergency patient– create an emergency patient policy that will minimise disruptions to the ideal day and maximise patient care.
• Daily huddle –conduct a brief daily meeting designed to improve team work and effectiveness of internal communication.
• Team meetings – understand the mechanics of conducting a well-facilitated team meeting that builds enthusiasm, generates commitment and brings a feeling of accomplishment for the team
