Hygienist Communications Intensive
Exponentially increase the value of your Hygiene department and free yourself to do what you do best.
Having a hygienist can be a great source of additional income and support to a practice, but it can also be fraught by cancellations and no-shows.
Our 2 - day intensive course for Hygienists and their Dentists has a big focus on communication. Building the relationship between Principal Dentist and Hygienist and maximising their communication will allow for aligned diagnoses, providing the best possible support to the patient.
Create systems and procedures to:
- Ensure patients request to see the hygienist.
- Maximise the value of the periodic hygiene visit.
- Calculate the number of hygiene days required.
- Align dentist and hygienist philosophies.
- Introduce a new hygienist into the practice.
- Increase patient participation in the active maintenance programme.
Communicate in order to:
- Ensure the entire team can support the hygienist and raise their profile in the patients’ eyes.
- Ensure that the hygienist reinforces the dentist’s treatment plans.
- Use PrimeSpeak tools to turn each patient into a devoted fan and get the patient to own their oral health problems.
- Powerfully motivate new patients to actively maintain their oral health.
Australian clinicians are required to make their own assessment as to the number of non-scientific continuing education hours each course provides. Accredited with CPD points from NZDA.
